COMMENT - this one caught my eye - flying gliders in the winter - it may be a bit ironic but we actually call it a "sled ride" when there's no lift to keep you up ; this was an actual event that happened during the day - here again I was looking for influences on dream content. Not much connection to the REVOLUTIONARY WAR though.
