Gere plays a highly successful political consultant with two ideologies - winning & money. Soon growing intrigue turns to danger as Gere works his way through the campaign season. Ultimately Gere hooks up with his ex (Christie), a Washington news reporter, to uncover a possible scandal involving a senior senator who is also his friend and client.

This movie came out the same year I became an information specialist and is close to my heart. Some may not appreciate the information aspects as much as I do, but the fast action and fine dialogue make this an excellent movie.
