Hollywood writer (Wilson) turned novelist is on a pre- wedding trip to Paris. Distracted by issues with his novel and his fiance's (McAdams) adoration of a family friend leads to a night-time stroll. At the stroke of midnight a vintage 1920s automobile stops and asks Gil, the budding novelist, to join their party. After that Gil's world it turned upside down.

Some have classified this movie as a romantic comedy -- not according to my standards. This is a breakup movie that leads to the discovery of happiness.
