TRUE BLOOD -- Season 1
Thanks to a new product called TRUE BLOOD vampires have "come
out of the coffin" to live openly among humans. It comes as no
surprise when a number of issues arise including vampire civil
rights and mixed marriage equality. But in the sleepy little
Louisiana town (Bon Temps) a rash of murders raises a more dire
specter of human/vampire relations. Though one exciting new
development comes with the availability of a new "drug" .. V ..
the street name for vampire blood which acts a powerful
hallucinogenic and aphrodisiac.
This intense and provocative new series begins when a local
waitress (Sookie Stackhouse) saves Vampire Bill from a couple
of "drainers" seeking to cash in Bill's blood. That same night
one of Sookies co-workers was strangled presumably by Jason
Stackhouse, Sookie's brother. Soon thereafter another girl
is found dead after sleeping with Jason. Finally towards the
end of the season yet another girl winds up dead. This time
while in bed with Jason after they were both high on V.
Sookie's love for Bill deepens, but trouble follows after they
go to the vampire bar, Fangtasia, owned by Eric, a thousand
year old Viking and the vampire Sheriff of Louisiana. Eric soon
becomes intrigued with Sookie much to Bill's displeasure.
This series is bloody with graphic sex on par with "Rome" and
"Spartacus". Be warned, however, that virtually every episode
ends with a grabber and may lead to binge watching.

TRUE BLOOD -- Season 2
With the serial killer exposed Jason Stackhouse seeks solace
with an anti-vampire religious cult based in Dallas, Texas.
Sookies relationship with Vampire Bill hits a snag after he is
forced to "turn" a 17-yr old virgin (Jessica) as atonement for
killing another vampire. Meanwhile an ancient Greek "shifter"
with a fondness for orgies upends the town of Bon Temps. It
seems she is after Sam, the owner of the local bar & grill and
a "shifter" himself.
While in Dallas major trouble brews for Jason when the Soldiers
of the Sun cult (part of the Light of Day Institute) discovers
his sister is a "fang banger". To make matters worse Sookie
gets captured by the leaders of the Light of Day Institute
while being paid to look for Godrick, Eric's "maker". The
explosive end of Season 2 finds Sookie emotionally bound to
Eric after the beguiling Viking tricks her to ingest his blood.
The next day Sookie experiences one of the side-effects of
drinking vampire blood ... she has a sexual fantasy ... about
Eric.

TRUE BLOOD -- Season 3
Vampire Bill is kidnapped by V-crazed werewolves on the night
he has proposed to Sookie. He escapes to find his abduction is
part of a larger plot to capture Sookie. To keep her safe he
stays away from Bon Temps and seeks refuge and answers from the
vampire queen.
This season follows vampire politics and the fight between
"mainstreamers", the vampire authority, and a three thousand
year old vampire hell bent on draining Sookie dry while
expanding his powerbase. As these forces collide we find that
Sookie has more powers than just reading minds.
Jason discovers there are more "supes" (street name for
supernatural beings) than anyone realized after he meets and
falls in love with a werepanther. As for Sookie her "people"
were thought to be drained to extinction by vampires seeking to
"walk in the daylight".
