Despite good performances by all the leads and supporting cast the abrasiveness of the lead characters diminished the comedic nature of this SITCOM. Then again, the characters hale for the burroghs of New York City. Perhaps the most abrasive city in the United States. While there were many great episodes, it took almost the entire first season to develop good laughs.

An OK rating is really not as bad as it may seem. After all, the series had staying power. Nine seasons. I personally found the characters too abrasive for commonality and comedic effect. That said, the series was better than FAIR. My lowest watchablen rating.
